Zentangle Style Quilting

Zen Quilting refers to a meditative approach to doodling with your sewing machine, inspired by the Zentagles® movement, taking a basic simple form or shape and expanding on it to add creative textures and designs. This is not a class for raw beginners; students are expected to already have some basic machine quilting skills. We will start by experimenting with doodle designs on paper then transferring the design ideas you like to fabric for your final stitched project. The process is easier than in seems, you don’t need to have precise drawing skills, just have fun with pencil and thread. Experience or familiarity with Zentangles® and basic free motion quilting skill will be helpful (but not necessary). Skill level: confident beginner and up.  Detailed Supply List
