Fusible Applique is the most popular form of Applique these days. It’s fast, it’s easy, but it’s also stiff. Try to wrap a baby in a fused quilt, and it’s like rolling Cleopatra in a carpet. A shirt adorned with fused applique feels like you are wearing body armor. You won’t believe that there is any fusible product used at all. This makes it perfect for appliquéing cuddly blankets or clothing where you would not want the stiffness of traditional fusible web. Many fusible products proclaim they are softer than others, but nothing comes close to the suppleness of this product and method of applying it. The softness of this method has to be felt to be believed! Come join me to experience the softest Applique you will ever feel. The class project is a pattern featuring a scattering of Autumn Leaves (included in the class), or if you are interested in a whimsical cat, I have several variations of my Garden Patch Cats, available to purchase.
